Can you help save the God of Mischief, “Loki.”
We are the family of Loki Bean. Loki is our beloved 4-year-old mini lab. He was full of life and energy always ready for the walk. He loved long walks in the woods and through the neighborhood park, but is unable to enjoy them now due to developing toxic kidney failure. This has left our four-legged family member fighting for his life.
I am a public-school teacher that already has a second job (I’m trying) and my wife works in healthcare and we have exhausted our emergency savings to pay for the x-ray, ultrasound, bloodwork, labs and IV treatments. I am a humble, but proud person that doesn’t like to ask for help and it pains me to even ask this, but my loving little boy is worth it. Setting aside my pride to ask, can you find it in your heart to help my Loki get the care he needs in the animal hospital.
Loki was a stray who found us as a four-month-old mischief maker and he knew he found his forever family here with us. I drove 12 hours to pick him up when he found my wife one evening after work to bring him home (fleas and all). He has been a loving member of the family ever since. Unfortunately, Loki was diagnosed with kidney failure on September 3rd, 2025 and given a fifty-fifty chance of survival from a second opinion, a different vet’s office.
Any amount you can help with will make a world of difference for our “God of Mischief” and his hospital bills. They are estimated to be under a thousand a night. He would need a minimum of a week for IV fluids, medicines and 24-hour monitoring. Our goal is ten thousand dollars and any funds not needed will be paid forward to a non-profit for other animals that need financial help. Loki and his family would like to thank each and every one of you for your support and prayers at this time.
