Earlier this year, I was invited to visit a primary school in Uganda. I found the country one of the most beautiful I have ever been to. I found the people to be some of the friendliest and nicest I have met. I also found levels of poverty that made me wonder what is going on in the world. Children who are very sick, are turned away from hospitals to go home to die because they cannot afford treatment. I went to the school and seen a reflection of this sad situation there. I have put a few videos and pictures which explain better than words could. No running water or electricity are present, and other facilities are woeful. I and my partner Jacquie are undertaking a walk, along the length of the Leeds-Liverpool canal starting 27/08/2025 all 130 miles of it and are looking for sponsors. Our initial aim is to raise enough money to enable the school to install electricity to the building. I have set up a Gofundme page, or you can contact me direct.
