Floating on Lake Travis, The Gar has employed two generations of local, Lake Travis residents, has been the home of Charity Poker Runs, weddings, birthday celebrations, rehearsal dinners, Chamber luncheons, anniversary celebrations, and countless tourists’ memories. They have donated to LTPA, both Point Venture and Lago Vista Lions Clubs’ charity golf tournaments, Lago Vista football, Lago Vista youth baseball, and much more.
Over the last 13 years, The Gnarly Gar has survived three floods, the historic, five-year drought, a tornado, other unforeseen setbacks, and now a massive loss in revenue due to COVID-19. Let’s help them survive this! Let’s band together to help this iconic Lake Travis business!
