The Give Bin
Donation protected
The Give Bin is seeking to disrupt the current donation model for reusable goods, while directly serving our community, and diverting reusable goods from our landfill sites.
Adam Gittler teaches Supply Chain Sustainability at Portland State University and is passionate about developing new approaches to increasing the reuse of goods. He has worked over the last 18 months with wonderfully smart student teams from PSU’s Business School to analyze and develop the Give Bin Project, launching in late 2020.
We are offering a scalable solution for organizations and companies of all sizes. We built this service model by closely listening to the needs of our partner organizations and understanding their expectations from our service. We know how to analyze your need for reusable materials and customize our offering to changing market and partner needs. Why not join our fast growing list of partner organizations? Get in touch today to learn more about The Give Bin.
We’ve partnered with Transitions Project in Portland, a homelessness advocacy group serving more than 10,000 people annually, to set up a pilot. We will be collecting shoes, pants, jackets, and other items from our network of neighborhood collection bins and distributing it less than five miles away to those in need.
