Dear family, friends and the extended gofund me community,

As I write this story I am filled with many emotions. I feel regret for even having to write this..sorrow -as I think about how Linh experienced the loss of a child…frustration - that her journey to motherhood has been full of challenges both financial and emotional…hopeful…that one day she will fulfill her lifes purpose.

This go fund me is dedicated to Alison ** for keeping Linhs dream of motherhood alive.

Linhs pregnancy with Alison in 2013 was fraught with complications which involved an emergent cerclage for cervical insufficiency and a month long hospitalization at El Camino. With both lives at risk, Linh developed sepsis and sadly, the pregnancy ended in fetal demise at 24 weeks.

While grieving the loss of Alison, in 2014 her hopes were short lived as she was met with news of a molar pregnancy . Given that Linh had experienced two very rare complications related to pregnancy, it seemed that hopes of carrying a baby to term were out of reach.

Time allowed Linh to heal and in 2019 she recieved news of pregnancy. Given her history, she underwent a preventive cerclage. Her pregnancy was complicated by chorioamnionitis and at 16 weeks she lost Emma.

It was after her pregnancy with Emma that Linh turned to IVF and surrogacy. In 2020 linh signed with her first agency in hopes that one of her three preimplantation genetically tested embryos would take. Her journey with the agency ended two years later after having invested 30k and dealing with a missing surrogate.

Never giving up, Linh signed with her current agency in 2022. On February 2023 Linhs first transfer failed with Loss of fetal heartbeat at 6 weeks and 3 days. Testing showed the baby had trisomy 16. This was followed by a second failed female embryo transfer on august 2023.

Hopes of motherhood were slipping away as I recieved news this past September that her third and last transfer failed.

Friends and family I am asking for your help to keep Linhs journey alive. A family member has generously offered to donate several embryos that have been in long term storage but the process involves legal fees. Another transfer would cost an additional 10k, with another 10k required to be put back in escrow. If this process is not completed by December she will have to pay an additional 4K to have her surrogate medically screened as these screenings are only good for one year. We estimate this process to total 30k - based on known fees and what Linh has spent on her journey.

Linh has exhausted all her resources and on her behalf I am humbly asking for any donation amount to help realize her dreams. Your support would mean the world to Linh and hopefully one day your generosity will allow Linh to receive the GIFT OF MOTHERHOOD.
