hi my name is Danielle, and I am starting this fundraiser in order to help a very dear friend of mine.

Serra is Brandy and Dj’s five year old daughter. Last week after waking up from a nap, she woke up not feeling well at all. When her parents picked her up from daycare, they noticed swelling in her forehead. Her entire face began to swell and she was in immense pain. They took her to the ER and tests were ran. The results showed that her body was was attacking itself, and she had very little blood. She was then transferred to the Women & Children’s hospital in Mobile, where she’s had an array of testing done. After a very long couple of days, Serra was diagnosed with lupus. She has had blood transfusions, steroids, and fluids. However, many issues are still surfacing and doctors are struggling to find answers. They haven’t left her side, and she has a team of doctors working round the clock to get answers. If you know Brandy or DJ, you know they are not the type to ask for help. But I’d like to do everything I can to help, so I started this gofundme.

Brandy is a local tattoo artist, and DJ is a mechanic. Although they love the field of work they’re in, unfortunately money is only made when work is getting done. This is just a first step into a long journey for them, I want to try to ease this financial burden as much as possible now and in the future so they can focus on getting their sweet baby better. ❤️
