The German American Exchange Experience

Hi, I am John Krueger, a teacher at Seneca High School in Louisville, Kentucky. We are raising money for what we are calling the German American Exchange Experience, an amazing cultural opportunity between Seneca High School and the Staatliches Gymnasium in Bad Lobenstein, Germany. The program will run for 15 months.

The experience will be transformational in the lives of my students and for my school community.

In June 2024, our Seneca group (9 students and two chaperones) will fly to Germany, and travel to the small town of Bad Lobenstein, in the state of Thuringia. We will live with the German partner families there and attend school for two weeks. At the end of our stay, we embark on a 4-day excursion to Innsbruck, Austria and then to Regensburg in Bavaria.
