This past week, our family has had to deal with the horrific crime and death of Harrison Geppert.

Harry, 17, was found with a stab wound to his back at a Park on the Gold Coast around 5.40pm on Wednesday 4th September. Paramedics desperately worked to save him, however they werent able to revive him and tragically died at the scene.

Harry was one of 9 Children in our family, he was a son, a brother, an uncle, a grandson, a friend and will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

Our parents, Jeff and Lisa Geppert will forever have to deal with the fact their son was taken from them, but right now they should be able to grieve without worrying about bills, mortgage and being able to feed their other young kids. 

Our father Jeff, is a Self employed Electrical and Airconditioning Installer and Lisa is a stay at home mum so unfortnately they don't have access to bereavement pay or paid leave and are left to mourn the loss of their son all while trying to stay afloat.
