We are raising funds to keep Pearl Killian in her home following the unexpected passing of her husband and caregiver, George. George Killian passed away on Thanksgiving morning after many years of serving as Pearl’s full-time caregiver. She has advanced dementia, is confined to her bed, and depends completely on others for all daily needs. George cared for her faithfully every day, right up until his final moments, and we are now asking for support to continue the in-home care he devoted his life to providing.

More than anything, George wanted Pearl to remain at home during her final days. He promised her she would never have to enter a nursing home, and keeping that promise has become our family’s biggest priority.

Pearl is now being followed by hospice care, and we have enlisted private duty nursing assistants to provide the care she needs when her children cannot be present due to their full-time jobs. While her children are committed to being with her daily, they cannot provide the continuous coverage required without outside support.

To continue Pearl’s in-home care and fulfill George’s wishes, we are raising funds to support the caregivers who allow her to remain safe, comfortable, and surrounded by family in her own home. All donations will go directly toward her ongoing care.
