The GB Judo Community #StrongerTogether
The GB Judo Community is a voluntary initiative to improve British grassroots judo.
In the past 2 years, the GBJC website has had over 150,000 views
Due to this success, funds are needed to keep the website running.
Just the expenses for software, licenses and web hosting.
This costs approx £2,500 per year.
...........and we would like to make improvements to the website!
A new judo calendar containing judo events & competitions from all judo associations along with the many events not listed by these:
- Masterclasses,
- Courses,
- Social Events,
- Training camps, etc.
...............at no cost to the organisers or participants.
Making it easier for the judo community to find events and share them with others.
So, we are asking those that use the GBJC website to contribute to the GBJC website initiative with what they can. Whatever you can spare.
In comparison, British Judo spend well over 1/2 million pounds per year on their website, marketing, content and communications!
Excluding additional public funding such as the £250,000 they received for their "Digital Transformation" including the BJA App, "Dojo-2".
As is common within judo, all the work and content on the GBJC website is done by are by unpaid volunteers.
This fundraising will not change that.
NO wages, expensive dinners or "remuneration payments"!
Share judo events with the group and from the group!
For those that ❤️ judo and like to discuss and exchange ideas and opinions!
Without fear of bullying and other non-ethical behaviour!
