The Gargoyle in my Head

I never thought I'd be the kind of person to ask for help, but sometimes life pushes you toward the unexpected. I'm raising money for a deeply personal project- my children's book, The Gargoyle in my Head.

I wrote this story 8 years ago when I was going through a hard time and it comes from a place of vulnerability. It's about Charlie, a young girl who discovers the voice in her head is a gargoyle. the gargoyle is a manifestation of her fears, anxieties and doubts. Charlie's journey mirrors my own struggles with self-doubt and the quiet battles we all fight within ourselves. The gargoyle is a part of her-and really a part of us all- and her journey to understand it speaks to our universal struggle to find peace within ourselves.

As I poured my heart into writing this story I knew it wasn't just for me. I wrote the gargoyle in my head for everyone who feels like they're carrying something heavy. It's for those who need to see that they are not alone and that they can embrace their inner struggles and there's always a way forward.

The next step is sharing Charlie's story with the world. But self-publishing a book, especially one that is so meaningful, takes more than just passion- it requires funds for quality editing, beautiful illustrations, printing and distribution. I'm raising money to ensure this book gets the care and attention it deserves so I can reach the people who need it most.
