The Gangs Bikes Got Destroyed

My 1UpUSA rack snapped while driving down the freeway in Pennsylvania taking all 3 of our bikes underneath an 18 Wheeler. No one was hurt but 2 Surlys and a Rivendell are in Bicycle Heaven now. 1UpUSA has offered to sell me a new discounted rack but Maggie, Zooey, and I are up the creek on the bikes.

$6,000 doesn’t fully cover the Rivendell Atlantis, Surly Straggler, Surly Crosscheck, and 1Up rack but it gets everyone rolling again with new(to us) bikes.

*If anyone at Surly or QBP or Rivendell or WHEREVER honestly wants to reach out about factory seconds or warranty returns or whatever they could hook us up with it would mean the world. I’ll donate all of the $$$.*

Any $$ left over from this fundraiser will be donated to A Bike For Every Child. They are a North Carolina based charity that gets kids on bicycles.

Cycling brings us so much joy and the cycling community is a special place. It feels wild to ask for donations but if you’ve ever had a great day outside by yourself or with friends and family you know what it can mean. Thanks yall.
