Gabriel Hammond O'Halloran is a local 7 year old boy whose world was just turned upside down. Gabriel has a smile that lights up the world and eyes that resemble the ocean; they make you sink into his imagination. He loves to go to school and play with his friends. He excells in math and wishes one day to be a Marine Biologist or a Mathematician. His dreams never stop growing. He loves Skylanders, Pokemon, his little sister Rowan and miso soup.
Recently, Gabe was diagnosed with Embryonic Rhabdomysarcoma, a rare malignant childhood cancer located in the ocular cavity. The mass was removed and he sucessfully had a portacath implanted on April 19th, 2017 to have his chemo treatments administered. After six months of chemotherapy, Gabe will be reciving three weeks of radiation treatment.
Gabe has an incredible team of pediatric oncologists at Massachussetts General Hospital. The good news is that we caught this early and it is treatable, but Gabe still has to undergo treatment and treating cancer is expensive. He has a long road ahead.
Through his chemo treatments Gabriel's parents will continue to work to pay for life expenses and their son's treaments for his fight against cancer. We need to rally in support for this sweet, intelligent, and caring young boy.
We are recieving an incredible amount of love and support and are very grateful.
Gabriel will be knighted at the Magical Moon Farm Foundation for kids with cancer on August 19th, 2017, where he will officially be knighted as Gabe the Pirate, Knight.

Let's make cancer walk the plank for Gabe!!
This page is for the people who would like to donate to the family and for those who will not be able to attend the fundraiser on Wednesday, July 19th.
Cancer is not a death sentence. We believe in science. We believe in Gabriel's doctors. Most importantly, we believe in Gabriel and we know this is just a brief, difficult period of his greater story. A smooth sea never made for a skillful sailor. Lets help show Gabe that he is our ultimate treasure.
Thank you from the bottom of the O'Halloran/Stowell/Dunn family's hearts, every bit counts.
