My stepson, Gabe Lilienthal, was murdered by a fentanyl overdose. He was a 17 year-old child. He died in our home. He was a straight-A student preparing to go to college. He wanted to be a sculptor and a financial planner. He was a funny, caring young man who loved humor and was generous to all around him. Our world made him anxious and he had a hard time sleeping. So he tried a fake OxyContin - one time. We have started this page to raise money to provide real education on the dangers of these drugs to middle and high school kids across the country. Not the status quo, health class type, but real talk and real teaching. Help us work with states to enforce existing laws and when necessary change laws to hold those accountable for selling these dangerous drugs. Help us change how we treat each other, change the expectations of our children so we can stop senseless tragedies like ours. Thank you.
