Have Art, Will Travel - String Theory 2.0

Donation protected
The art has been evolving since 2017. Simply summarized, a spinning string manifests a wave of kinetic energy that is illuminated with lights that stoboscopically manipulate the visual appearance. Partipants manipulate the wave of energy with their hand and contribute to the art with provided materials.

Yester-year's LEDs produced beautiful color and texture. Today's flicker-free LED's are monochormatic and lack luster. The art was at a stand still and dependent upon archaic and unreliable LEDs. In 2023, Custom LED fixtures were ordered but had some bugs that caused their failure. 2024 was a year of working out the bugs, replacing parts and writing new code for firmware updates. The new and improved custom crafted LED lights have a wide range of stroboscopic controls including RGB, Strobe Period, Strobe Width, Strobe Phasing and Pulse Width Modulatoin. They produce results that are nothing short of incredible and are operating without issue.

The interactivity of String Theory 2.0 in unparalleled. It is a hands on experience that allows participants to open and close the portals along its 50' length. The latest edition is wearable art and emits from the forehead's third eye! Perfect for wedding receptions, the Bride and Groom will literally "tye the knot" into the art and display their unique contribution for all to enjoy during their reception.

2025 will be a year of traveling exhibitions both private and public. Starting with NYE 2025 at Idaho's Potato Drop, February at Love Burn in Miami. March at Unscruz in Santa Cruz. April at Saguaro Man in Tucson. May at SoCal's Lightning in a Bottle. June at Psychedic Science Conference in Denver and Element 11 in Utah. July at Michigan's Lakes of Fire. August in Copenhagen. November at Edinhovin Netherland's Glow.

After countless hours spanning 8 years, the art's evolution in nearing full maturity. Work is underway for the art's final edition, a grand scale installation that packs into flight cases and flown on commercial airlines. Donating to the "Have art, will travel" campaign will cover the cost of transporting the art, lodging and lost wages during exhbitions around the globe. On the agenda are Lyon, France. Hong Kong, China. Amsterdam, Netherlands. Salt Lake City, USA. Sydney, Australia and more to come.
