CARRY ON THE MISSION OF A CHICAGO ICON.
A pioneer and innovator in the domain of source separation recycling, waste reduction and sustainable programming, Ken Dunn died of B Cell lymphoma in October, 2024. Juan Sebastian and other long time Resource Center employees plan to carry on the vision of sustainability in Chicago neighborhoods. A campaign for transition, including updating the fleet of trucks, stabilizing the budget and modernizing communication is part of the capital campaign.
The tradition of excellence in environmental, sustainable programming can be re-invigorated with your help. Ken worked tirelessly for decades in pursuit of waste reduction and beautification of our city. Join in this cause and carry the torch of a sustainable Chicago into the future.
