The Fussell Fund

I am opening a gofundme for a dear friend of mine who is walking through a terrible tragedy right now over the death of her son, Darryl Fussel, and could use any help you can provide to get them through all their financial needs while they’re in the process of finding the truth and justice for Darryl. Please hear her story below:

It is with a heavy, broken heart that the Fussell family has to share that our son and brother, Darryl Lynn Fussell, II was killed by police on the evening of Thursday, April 13th, 2023. In the days leading up to Darryl's death, he exhibited symptoms of serious mental illness and was undergoing inpatient treatment at a psychiatric facility at the time of his death.

In the midst of this tragedy, we have temporarily closed our family restaurant, Fussell Cake Company, while we grieve and make final arrangements for Darryl. Funds raised will be used to help cover the costs of  Darryl's final expenses as well as expenses required to keep our business open and our family afloat during this devastating time.

We are doing everything we can to find out the truth of what happened to our son and brother and to get justice for him. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank you all for your love and support. If you feel moved, please share the story of our son and this fundraiser with your friends and families.
