The Funeral Racket Subs

Ropponica Project Crowdfund #1:
For decades, Shintaro Katsu's Zatoichi films have inspired and influenced countless moviegoers worldwide.
But Shintaro Katsu was more than a one-trick pony. In 1968, Katsu teamed with Tale of Zatoichi collaborator Kenji Misumi—a legendary filmmaker in his own right—to deliver a hilarious pitch-black social satire.
In the Funeral Racket, Katsu plays a death mask maker who on the verge of Expo '70 in Osaka takes on dueling undertakers with the help of Yunosuke Ito. A relentless spoof of modern capitalist society, but with reflective ironical twists, The Funeral Racket's considered one of the high-water marks in Katsu and Misumi's careers. That's saying something.
Contributions go toward fully subtitling the film. Once finished, links to the movie and subs will be sent to all the contributors.
