The Friendly Inn Chefs

Saturday night after finishing their dinner service at the pub, our two chefs Anish and Binod were collided into head on by a car being driven on the wrong side of the road. Binod as pillion passenger on their motorbike luckily escaped with minor cuts and bruising but Anish, who was riding took most of the impact. He suffered lacerations to his face and has a fractured wrist and hand damage. He is undergoing surgery today and is expected to be discharged from Wollongong hospital in the next 2 days. The pub will be supporting them both during their recovery and we are also putting on a sausage sizzle benefit for them this Thursday from 5.00 pm. A donation bucket will be present to help the fellas out. We wish them a speedy recovery and hope they are back to 100% as soon as possible. A huge thank you to KV RFS who attended in force!
