Sometimes the dogs who need the most love end up finding the exact human meant for them. Megan & Boo!
I’m starting this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden so Megan can focus on what she does best loving Boo and giving him the best care possible.
Here is her story in her own words.
I got Boo from Church of Pug rescue a month after my other dog Wilbur died of cancer. Boo had a large disc herniation in his low back, which led to him being permanently incontinent and not having feeling in his back legs. After that, his owner of 6 years couldn’t take care of him and had to give him up.
Previously Wilbur had had a disc herniation that was luckily repairable. Since I had experience with disabled frenchies, I adopted Boo after 4 months of fostering him once he got used to his new environment and fitted for a wheelchair. He has to wear diapers because of his incontinence which can sometimes cause uncomfortable sores around his hips and UTI occasionally. Now his vet thinks he has an antibiotic resistant infection that has been causing a lot of vet bills and medication expenses on top of his normal allergy meds and diaper costs. If he doesn’t respond to his new medication, there may be something more serious like kidney or bladder cancer involved.
Please consider helping with Boo’s medical bills so Megan can focus on loving him and going on many more adventures.
