I deleted the prior story. It had a lot of pain in it. I don't feel identified with that past anymore.
This entire process has opened me in profound ways. I'd rather focus on where I'm at/going, then where' I've been.
The Fragrance of the Lotus teacher training is year long, divided into four modules. I've raised money and attended two modules, with two more remaining.
So far, the shifts in my body, energy, and thinking have been profound. Doing daily practice and meditation has helped me gain immense clarity, as to how I've adopted limited thinking. Self trust and accountability has surged to great extent. It's like waking from a dream, one which I thought was reality.
Doing practice with others, has been both healing and transformative. It's given me the nourishment of connection, and awareness of how I show up in relationship.
This awareness has helped me in immense ways. A huge one is the relationship between my body and mind. Breaking through the walls of resistance and fear, and linking my body and mind in a loving way has me, for the first time in my life, feeling genuinely happy and content inside and outside of myself.
Each day I'm peeling away the restrictive residue of perfectionism and toxic shame, excavating the true self. I'm in awe of how I've shed feeling disconnected and isolated.
Being inside my body is almost magical. It's like a fantasy that became reality. I feel free.
My vision is to complete this training, deepen the loving relationship with my body, release toxic shame, and bring love/connection to the wounded parts of myself.
After the training, I want to build safe spaces male vulnerability, healing, accountability, and leadership. I plan on doing this through workshops, one-on-one sessions, and men's circles.
Along with that, I'm passionate about doing whatever I can to help people release shame, and live joyously inside of themselves. From my perspective, shame is the biggest silent problem we have. It's everywhere, and could be talked about/confronted much, much more.
Everyone has a right to mind blowing pleasure, to love themselves so much there's no resistance with their sexual energy and love making.
Finally, I want to be a beacon for myself and other people with disabilities. I'm legally blind, have numerous health issues, and diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Cogan's Syndrome. I know if I can overcome any circumstance to help myself, and others; it may inspire people to live towards their true powerful self.
We all win if that happens.
My teacher, Dawn Cartwright, is well respected in the Neo-Tantra world. She is on another level. I'm grateful to be learning from her.
