The Fred Lepley Class Medical Fund

Fred Lepley, owner of Lepley Ham Loaf on 12th Street, and lifetime resident of Franklin, Pa. is in a fight for his life. Fred has been diagnosed with an inoperable tumor of the brain and is currently being treated with chemotherapy and radiation at Shadyside UPMC Northwest. He will be there for several days, he will then come home for in-home treatment. It will be the first time Fred will be home since December 29th. He is scheduled to go back to Shadyside again on February 14th for another treatment. Fred's eyesight and balance has also been effected by the tumor.
Because of Fred's recent illness, Fred and his wife Jackie, who continues to work as a substitute teacher, have had to close the doors of their fledgling business, Lepley Ham Loaf just as their medical bills have started to surge.
My classmates and I have taken the initiative to start a fund to help curtail some of Fred's medical bills during this time of uncertainty in Fred's life. We have set the goal high as the bills are mounting and will continue for some time as Fred fights the good fight.
