We never imagined life would bring us here.
My brother Josh is a husband, a father, a son, and soon-to-be dad of two. Their second child is due this December. What should be the happiest season of their lives has been shaken by news that changed everything.
Josh was recently diagnosed with an aggressive grade III glioma—a rare, severe, terminal brain cancer that is treatable but not curable.
Here are three things most people don’t know about this kind of cancer:
• Gliomas often weave into healthy brain tissue like roots in soil, making it impossible to fully remove with surgery.
• They can change personality, speech, and even memory overnight, robbing loved ones of the person they once knew.
• Even with treatment, gliomas almost always grow back stronger and faster, making time the most fragile resource we have.
This is not just severe for Josh—it’s severe for his wife, his children, and everyone who loves him. That’s why we’re asking for your help, something Josh never imagined he would have to do.
If you feel moved to give, please know that your generosity will never be forgotten. Your kindness will help Josh and his family with the things that matter most right now: paying for care, keeping their home running, and making sure the children are safe and supported. And if you can’t give, sharing Josh’s story is just as meaningful. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for listening, for caring, and for helping them through this.
With love and gratitude, On behalf of Josh, Sharee, Vega, Jack & the Adonis-Suguitan Family.
