The Fox Family
Donation protected
I am asking for prayers and our community to raise up a wonderful part of Kenosha: the Fox family. Local business owners (Fitfam) Alyssa and Andy have two boys: Declan (age 3) and Hudson (age 1). They haven’t had the easiest time with getting Hudson’s medical issues under control. A few months after a very traumatic birth, Hudson presented with abnormal breathing patterns (retractions and fast). It’s now progressed to low oxygen levels on a daily basis with night time being especially unnerving. Little Hudson now is overcoming a developmental delay from the frequent lack of oxygen and multiple hospital stays. All of this has resulted in numerous trips to Children’s Milwaukee, special equipment to monitor his health, emergency childcare for Declan, but ultimately no true diagnosis. This is all terrifying stuff for an infant to go through, and his parents who are constantly scared.
Friends of Alyssa’s have started this fundraiser to help pay for the Fox family's trip to Colorado and a portable oxygen machine. There is a pulmonary specialist there who will hopefully give them the answers they desperately need. They need answers, a treatment plan, and hope for a life that’s healthier and happier for baby Hudson. Since oxygen is going to be needed for much of the foreseeable future they are trying to get a portable oxygen machine that would allow them to travel to CO for the appointment and be able to get out of the house more easily. These machines are expensive (~$3,000) and not covered through insurance unfortunately. Please consider donating but even sharing the post is a tremendous help. Any cash or other physical donations can be arranged through Hannah Sanders ([email redacted]). Thank you in advance.
