The Special Needs community in Monroe is strong and we like to help each other out. The Mohrs are a beloved Monroe Twp family - Chris (dad), Judi (mom) and twins Max & Eleanor - who are 8 years old. As many know - Judi has been dealing with cancer for a couple of years as a second recurrence. She has been in treatment (chemo) but recently there have been complications. Due to complications, treatment was stopped and she is currently hospitalized with critical medical complications. As such, she has been unable to work and Chris has worked on a limited basis, as he has been back and forth to the hospital as well as taking care of the children - so that he can try and given them some sense of normalcy, and so that Max can continue his therapies as well. Unexpected Medical and home bills are incurring and the family needs some help. We are looking to help this family as they are a wonderful family that has been very active at school and friends of many of us. If we are able to raise significant funds - it will ensure that Chris spends as much time with Judi as possible during this critical time - is able to maintain the home - and provide the twins what they need.
