Hi My name is Tina and last May I was involved in a serious motorbike accident where the driver knocked me off my motorbike and left me lying unconscious in the road not knowing if I was alive or dead, they drove off but luckily 5/10mins later a lovely family stopped and waved down traffic as it was early morning so it was dark. The Air Ambulances critical care team came to assist me and looked after me extremely well, I had a dislocated arm so they had to put this back in place and safely transfer me to a land ambulance where they bluelighted me to the Leicester Royal Infirmary. I was in hospital 2days after an operation to fix my broken forearm. We've never found the driver as there's no cameras down that stretch of the A46 western bypass. So I am holding a big fundraiser in aid of the Air Ambulance on Saturday 29th March to raise money for them as they're not funded and work solely on public donations. You just never know when you will need these Flying Heroes. All donations on this Gofundme will go straight to Air Ambulance
