Across the globe, millions women and girls cannot afford basic period products.

In India, 1 in 10 girls under 21 cannot afford period products. That is millions of girls who end up using unhygienic substitutes, whether that's dirty rags, newspapers, or even ash because they lack the simple luxury of a pad.

In the United States, too, thousands of students and unhoused women go without pads, with no public support and no safety net.

No one should ever have to worry about infection or shame just because they are on their period.

Though it does not have to be this way.

With your help, we’re donating sanitary pads directly to girls in under-resourced schools across rural India and women's shelters in the USA. Just $1 provides a girl with enough pads for one month. That single dollar can mean the difference between attending school and staying home. Between safety and infection. Between shame and dignity.
