Chad Fitts is a husband, father of four boys, a small business owner, a chaplain in the National Guard, and pastor/church planter in Northlake, Texas.

 

On June 2nd, 2022, Chad was working with his teenage son doing a managed brush pile burn on their land. The fire reached the fuel canister and exploded, engulfing Chad in flames. He received mostly 2nd (some 3rd) degree burns over 27% of his body. He was taken to the hospital immediately before being transferred to a specialized burn unit at the Medical City of Plano. They scrubbed and debrided the wounds, but his burns require surgery and depending on the rate of his recovery, he’s expected to be in the hospital for 1-4 weeks.

 

Please help this family in their time of need - we are looking to raise funds to help with medical expenses, loss of income, and all of the additional expenses that come with additional travel, hospital food costs, and the extensive recovery to come.
