Help Us Open An Authentic West African Café

I am Opportune Akendeu , owner of the first west African food truck in Los Angeles. Due to the success of this, i am embarking on opening up a store front to carry on with the trajectory. I have realized that now is the time to step out and move forward with expanding my culinary skills by turning my dreams into a reality. I have always wanted to open up my own café storefront, but I didn’t have the financial resources or the right location to move forward with the plans. God has been kind and I have now been blessed with the opportunity for the perfect facility that will put me one step closer to serving the Los Angeles area on a larger scale. I would love to have your support in the journey to bringing The Village Hut Café to you on a daily basis. Your consistent support goes without notice and I want you all to know that I am forever grateful.

Help us create job opportunities as we will be partnering with local farmers here in the states and  in Africa for all our natural produce and tea . We  also plan on working with Africans in the diaspora to  promote our beautiful African culture through our food and art.

One of our goal is to help other chefs who are working on perfecting their craft by offering our cafe for them to host taste test and Popup events so that they can raise money for their own businesses.

It’s very important that we give back to the community so every 1st and last Sunday of the month we plan on hosting food drives for our  community .
