We need everyone's help the season is underway and as we keep growing and adding more student athletes to our team we need - sponsors, donors for both in-kind services and/or donations to keep growing changing lives. We are very excited to announce the inaugural American River College Rugby Club season. This is going to be an amazing year as we compete in Division 1 AA. We will play a full 4 year college schedule competing against Sac State (ARC 27 Sac State 20) Stanford (ARC 17 Stanford 18), UN Reno (ARC 51 UNR 12) SF State, Chico State, Fresno State, San Jose State, and more.

This is an amazing opportunity for players, fans, and sponsors to take part in bringing a much-needed rugby product to the Sacramento area. Rugby is a sport that promotes teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness. It provides our students with an excellent opportunity to engage in a challenging and character-building activity. However, establishing a new team comes with its own set of financial challenges, which is why we are reaching out to individuals and organizations in our community.

We need everyone’s help to kick this program off and give the greater Sacramento area the ability to compete on such a large stage. We are asking for sponsors, volunteers, and support from the entire community. Donations will be used to help cover the costs associated with starting and maintaining our rugby club. These expenses include:

• Food and basic rugby gear for student-athletes who are in great need of assistance.

• Equipment: Rugby requires very little gear like jerseys, shorts/socks, cleats, and balls for matches but they are a must for us to take the field.

• Support Staff: To host games at ARC we will need to pay and provide trained medical personnel, referees, and other supporting roles to facilitate game days.

All proceeds will go directly to the American River College Rugby Club.
