On what started as a normal day, our lives changed forever. A sudden fire tore through our home, destroying everything in its path. In just minutes, the place where we laughed, celebrated, and made countless memories was reduced to ashes.

My mom, Heidi Overton, was trapped inside. Luckily, she was rescued by the Elbert County Emergency Services Department. My family is beyond grateful to be alive — but we escaped with nothing but the clothes we were wearing. Family photos, keepsakes, and the little things that made our house a home are all gone.

Now, we face the difficult road of starting over completely — finding somewhere safe to live, replacing essentials, and trying to piece our lives back together. We are asking for help during this heartbreaking time. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward rebuilding our lives and providing a fresh start for our family.
