Hi,

My name is Marlene. In April 2023 I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and have been off work since. The Co-operators, the insurance company, have decided, through an over-the-phone assessment, that I can go back to work in a sedentary job. My job is not sedentary. The Co-operators have ceased funding as of April 28 2025. I only get CPP disability from the government at the moment and that covers rent. Nothing else.

I am scraping together the last of my meager savings in order to survive, but with bills that need to be paid ASAP as well as tenant insurance and the like, I cannot last beyond June.

Unfortunately, I need help and I need it right away. The Co-operators are not going to help me and applying for everything else takes more time than I have.
