The Fight Is Over - Rest Well Toya!

Sunday, September 2, 2018, the Lord unexpectedly called my sister, Toya Sha’Ron Caldwell home. Toya has founght a good fight. Toya is now a winner because she is no longer suffering with the pains of this world. Toya has been a long time fighter and surviver of diabetes, kidney disease and heart disease. Toya fought even when she didn’t have fight in her left. She was so brave. I know I could have never endured the battles Toya had to go through. From dialysis treatments 3 plus times a week to numerous surgeries for dialysis treatment and open heart surgery. What a level of strength did she display! All in the name of love to stay alive for the people she love! And for her most treasured joy, her one and only son, Malachi, 16 years old. Because Toya endured so many illnesses, she was not able to work. In addition, no insurance company would agree to provide her life insurance because of her condition. Therefore, we are left with the heartbreaking task to lay my sister to rest. I wish with my whole heart that I could bare the cost alone. Unfortunately I’m not able to do so. During this very emotional and heartbreaking time, I am asking that all of my family and friends and anyone with a giving heart to please make any donation you are able to, to help with these costs. I’ve never had to take on this responsibility fully and did not imagine that even in death life is still a costly battle to Rest In Peace. Toya deserves to rest well because she had a good heart, amazing spirit, never complained about her ailments and always had a word of encouragement and love for others no matter her circumstances. I thank each and every person that has ever whispered a prayer on my sister’s behalf. Please continue to pray for our family and especially her son, who we will now be responsible for raising and ensuring he does not lack anything without the love of his best friend, his mother!
