The Fight for Shane

We’re reaching out to let you know that we are kicking off a campaign to help my brother, Richard Shane Estigoy, and we need your help!

Shane has been unable to report for work since January due to an illness that needs urgent intervention. He is very sick, and his treatment is too costly for our family and loved ones to pay for alone. It’s no longer covered by his medical insurance due to multiple admission.

In February, Shane was admitted for 11 days at Fatima University Hospital. Shane was admitted in the ICU and was managed as Severe Sepsis from Pneumonia, Pleural effusion. He underwent thoracentesis and was discharged stable.

After 3 weeks, he complained a severe abdominal pain with associated difficulty breathing and was admitted at Manila East Medical Center managed as a case of Acute Pancreatitis, Pneumonia in ICH, Complicated UTI. They also noted an increase in Creatinine and was advised Hemodialysis and biopsy to rule out cancer - Lymphoma. Shane had to transfer to St Luke's Medical Center for further management due to complications.

Since April 2 up to this time, Shane is still admitted at St Luke's BGC. He is still in critical condition and we need your help and prayers.

I am appealing to the hearts and kindness of Shane's friends and co-workers to help our family raise funds, needed for this life-saving treatment.

We can’t cure Shane, but we can help ease the financial burden and resultant stress that the family is facing. Any amount will help Shane and our family through this unexpected hardship.
