I am reaching out to share the story of my brother, Fernando Hernandez. Fernando is a devoted husband and a loving father to three children, ages 18, 15, and 10. His life changed forever in October 2025 when he went to the emergency room with severe abdominal pain. After four grueling months of tests and blood work, we received the news in February 2026 that Fernando has been diagnosed with Stage 3 peritoneal cancer.

As he begins this intensive battle, Fernando’s focus remains where it has always been: on his wife and his kids. However, the reality of a Stage 3 diagnosis has brought a staggering financial burden. Between major surgeries and the ongoing chemotherapy treatments he requires, the medical bills are mounting rapidly. We are starting this fund to ease the financial pressure on Fernando and his family. Our goal is to ensure that his wife and children can focus on supporting him through his recovery, rather than being overwhelmed by the weight of medical debt.
