The Fight Against Cancer : Latanya Story

My mother name is Latanya Denise Kendrick she is 46 years old. She is a single mother of 4 and grandmother to two beautiful grandkids. She is a outstanding citizen in her community, from feeding the homeless, encouraging youth to vote, picking up trash, and planing events for the children in her neighborhood. She is the type of person to give you the clothes off her back and give you her last dime. She has always been a great mom and even better grandmother to my two kids, helping to look after them while I work a full time job While Also raising her last child my eight year old brother.A great friend, a helpful neighbor, a sister, mom and a daughter she is all things amazing. Unfortunately her whole world change when she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer on January 29, 2020. Then 6 months later on June 12, 2020 she had tested positive for Covid-19. Causing her Chemo Treatment to be delayed.

She quarantined herself for a month and retested for COVID-19 and was cleared to start her treatment. And Even though she beat Covid her fight against cancer is still going strong.

From nausea to fatigue and losing her hair. The chemo has take a toll on her body. She is Not able to work. She needs a new home that is better equipped and update to deal with her immune deficiency. Anything counts anything help.  Thank you for taking the time to read her story #Protectthepatients
