The Felton Holmes Celebration of Life

Dear Family and Friends,
On November 11th, 2020, we lost Felton Holmes unexpectedly to an undetected heart condition. While his passing may have left a void in our lives, we have so many cherished memories of Felton that we’d like to share every year with a celebration of his life.
In his memory, the Holmes family started the Felton Holmes 926 Foundation. It is our intention to raise funds through the 926 Foundation to support an annual celebration of his life event and a yearly scholarship award in Felton’s name for an incoming student to Grambling State University. In addition, the Foundation will support an annual contribution to a college fund for his youngest children Madison and Mason Holmes. We’d also like to bring awareness to heart disease and its effects on the black community.
This year’s Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, September 4th in Busse Woods, Elk Grove Village. We will update attendees on the state of Illinois COVID regulations as we get closer to the event. However, it will be outdoors, and masks will be welcomed, not required. Of course, there will be a dominoes tournament, good food, and a family atmosphere.
