Help us bring faith, hope, dignity, and spiritual support to incarcerated men and women.

Our Story

The Fellowship of La Santa and the Sacred Justice was founded on a simple but powerful belief: no person should be forgotten, and no one should be denied the chance to grow, find hope, and strengthen their faith because they are incarcerated.

Behind prison walls are people who still need encouragement, prayer, compassion and a sense of belonging. They are people with families, memories, struggles, hopes and the desire to become better versions of themselves.

Our Fellowship exists to remind them that they still matter.

We are building a spiritual community where people can seek guidance without fear of judgment, strengthen their relationship with the sacred and find encouragement during some of the most difficult chapters of their lives.

Our faith community honors Santa Muerte while recognizing the importance of God, Jesus, prayer, personal responsibility and service to others. We believe faith should encourage people to live with greater patience, wisdom, discipline, mercy, truth, compassion and justice.

Why We Need Your Help

We are raising funds through The Light 27 campaign to help establish a stronger foundation for the Fellowship and expand our ability to serve incarcerated devotees and others seeking spiritual support.

Your contribution will help us work toward these goals:

  • 1. Establish Our Legal Foundation

We are working to establish the Fellowship's organizational and administrative foundation and pursue recognition by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3). This process requires preparation, filing, and other organizational expenses. Approval is not guaranteed, but we are committed to pursuing this goal responsibly.

  • 2. Bring Spiritual Resources Behind Prison Walls

We want to help incarcerated individuals connect with faith through prayer materials, devotional writings, spiritual reading resources, and other appropriate religious materials, subject to facility rules and available funding.

  • 3. Build a Community of Faith and Hope

We want incarcerated devotees to know that they are not alone. Through spiritual encouragement, correspondence, prayer and faith-based educational resources, we hope to build meaningful connections that remind people they still have dignity and purpose.

  • 4. Encourage Personal Growth and Responsibility

Our principles are not just words. We want to help people put them into practice in everyday life.

Patience instead of unnecessary anger. Wisdom instead of impulsiveness. Discipline instead of self-destruction. Justice instead of revenge. Mercy instead of cruelty. Faith instead of hopelessness. Responsibility instead of excuses. Compassion instead of contempt.

These values can help people reflect on their choices, learn from mistakes and work toward a more hopeful future.

Why We Call It The Light 27

The name The Light 27 represents our commitment to carrying hope into places where people may feel forgotten or cut off from the world.

The number 27 serves as a spiritual symbol for this campaign—a reminder that light, faith, and the possibility of personal growth can continue even in difficult circumstances.

For us, the light is not about pretending that hardship does not exist. It is about helping people find direction when life feels dark, strength when they feel discouraged, and hope when they need a reason to keep moving forward.

Every prayer shared, every resource provided, and every person reminded of their dignity is another way to help that light shine.

How Your Donation Will Help

Every contribution, large or small, can help us take another step toward our mission.

Donations will support the Fellowship's organizational and administrative needs, efforts to pursue 501(c)(3) recognition, and the development and delivery of spiritual resources and outreach for incarcerated men and women.

We are committed to using contributions responsibly and keeping our supporters informed about the work their generosity makes possible.

We are building this Fellowship step by step. We may be a growing organization, but we believe that a small beginning can lead to meaningful service when it is guided by faith, honesty, and dedication.

Be Part of the Light

You do not have to be incarcerated to understand the importance of hope. You do not have to share our beliefs to understand the value of treating people with dignity.

You simply have to believe that people should not be forgotten.

When you donate, share this campaign, or tell someone about our mission, you help us reach people who may need encouragement the most.

You help us build a community where faith can survive difficult circumstances, where people can take responsibility for their lives, and where compassion does not end at the prison gates.

We know that we cannot change every circumstance. But together, we can help someone feel less alone.

No one forgotten. No faith left behind.

With gratitude and faith,
The Fellowship of La Santa and the Sacred Justice
