Over the last several years, various mediums of Entertainment have been used by Extremist Ideologues to promote division and hate. Cherished and beloved franchises in Gaming, Comics, Television and Film have been perverted into propaganda, degrading the quality and meaning of these mediums once used to escape trivial subjects like politics. When these traditional fans reject sub-par work that favors extremist sociopolitical rhetoric, these fans are attacked online by producers, creators, online news media, actors and the troglodytes that support bigotry and hate. Through these dogma's came the advent of movements like The Fandom Menace. This collective of fans across various genres from a plethora of backgrounds have come together due to the consistent labels, doxing, attempted personal and professional humiliation, online harassment, threats against family members like their children and physical assaults in public. Out of this, a community of voices on YouTube like Jeremy Griggs, Jeff Hicks and Ethan Van Sciver spoke out against the lies spun by the media under threat of these things happening to them and worse, deplatforming or unpersoning on social media. The Fandom Menace Volume One is about this culture war and the true aggressors within it. It is the actual racists and sexists who run the asylum that label their detractors, people who stand up for liberty and freedom of thought, with such terribly ignorant labels such as 'Nazi' with no regard or understanding to what such vile terms actually mean to people like the Jewish community. This fundraiser is to help cover the cost of illustration, editing and advertising for this book. It is already over half way complete, but I have no money for these other things. I am doing my best to represent The Fandom Menace and all its creators and supporters with the most authentic literary brush I can paint with, but I need your help. The Fandom Menace supports and defends one another's right to have a difference of opinion. I ask that you also support me in representing you. Thank you.
