On May 23, 2023, the lives of 10 year old Riker Mckelvey's family were forever changed. A parents' worst nightmare was realized when they received the news their son had been fatally injured while riding his bike to school. As you can only imagine, the family is completely devastated. They are struggling emotionally, physically and financially as they grieve the loss of their beautiful boy, Riker.

Riker was a fun loving, energetic, and outgoing young boy with an infectious smile who loved to skateboard and spend time at the Cinema5 skatepark. He was a grade 5 student at CD Howe school and would have celebrated his 11th birthday on June 1st.

This GoFundMe page has been started with the hope of easing some of the financial burden the family is now facing, and also to help them find a meaningful way to honour Riker's life.
