For those of you who may not know…It is with a heavy heart and great sadness to announce the unexpected passing of Scott Olds on Sunday, November 6th, just one day before his 54th birthday.

My name is Dominic DeBellis, a long time friend of Scott, Dianna, Ron & Desli. As you can imagine the heartache that the family is facing with the passing of their son, brother and uncle, We are trying to raise money to help defray the cost of memorial services for Scott. We are also looking to introduce a new scholarship for East County Junior Golf in the honor of the entire Olds family. The Olds family Junior Golf Scholarship will focus on junior and high school golfers in East County.

The Olds Family has a long and accomplished history in Junior Golf and competitive amateur golf. It started with brothers Bob, Jim & Mike and continued with their children Randy, Mike, Ron and Scott. Before Jim’s passing, he was a huge proponent and volunteer for junior golfers all over East County. And if you are reading this you probably already know Scott’s résumé. Dianna, Ron & Desli thank you for any contribution that you can make to help offset the cost associated with funeral and memorial services for Scott and start a scholarship fund.
