Anyone who ever spent more than a minute with Matt undoubtedly had their life changed for the better. He was one of the most genuine, kind hearted and caring souls anyone could have the pleasure of knowing. Whether you needed a good laugh, a shoulder to cry on or just a lending ear, he was always there and never hesitated. He was a son, an uncle, a brother and a friend, but most all he was our Matt (or Matty or Red). He has left us all far, far too early and will leave an everlasting hole in more hearts than anyone could even imagine. There are some things in this world that words cannot even begin to describe, and I believe that is something we are all sharing at this moment along with all the great memories Matt has left us with.
