Manny Granillo made a lasting impression on every life he touched. I didn't understand that until the last few days and after talking to those who knew him.
He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, massage therapist, and a light in the dark for all of those who engaged with him in conversation. He inspired, advised, joked with, held space for, and deeply loved his family and those he worked with.
Manny left on New Year's Eve, and he left behind a loving wife, Gina, children, grandchildren, and a hole in the hearts and lives of all he affected.
This fund is meant to assist his family in his absence. It's intended to show them how Manny changed us, how he inspired us.
Albert Jimenez and I thought this might be a good start to pay Manny back...by helping the reason he kept pushing forward every day until his retirement.
