The Family of Kris Stary (#StaryStrong)

Hi, we are Kris Stary's co-workers. We are raising funds to help Kris's family with their financial needs while she is on a long-term leave from work after being diagnosed with cancer.

Kris and Matt appreciate everyone who has reached out to them and the kids to send their love and support. The positive energy and well-wishes are an important part of this journey. The outpouring of love and support from family, friends and community has filled them with so much joy!!

The kids are doing as well as can be expected and have a strong support system around them. The meals, rides and daily check-ins have helped tremendously and they will likely be leaning on you for more help as they navigate the next steps of the process. That's hopefully what this GoFundMe campaign will help accomplish.

They have a very long road ahead of them & as Kris said "I am NOT going to let anything take me away from my kids!!"

The doctors should have a chemo treatment plan in place by the beginning of next week. Kris thanks those who have already offered to help in various ways from the bottom of her heart and when you see her kids or husband, please give them the biggest hugs because they are so brave and strong and the most precious things in her life!!

Being diagnosed with something that hits so close to home, given her family history, has been so difficult for her. But we know that a lot has changed in the medical field over the past 35 years!! Kris and her family want to say thank you for all of the support and love you've shown. We know you will all be part of the reason she makes it through this.
