Hello, after 3 months of hospice,Kevin Fackler passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 18. He was under the care of Christine, his loving wife of 30 plus years. Kevin had an accident at work during a snow storm that put him out of work in 2011. Then he was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2016. Through those years he went through many surgeries, physical therapy, cemo, countless hospital visits and so much more. In that 3 months during hospice Christine was unable to work due to Kevin needing round the clock care. She did absolutely amazing taking care of him. She was constantly at his side. And he really put her to work. Kevin loved joking about cracking the whip on her.
But that was Kevin. He a jokester at heart. He was also caring and full of love. When his two daughters were born he showed them off to everyone that lived on buttonwood st. My favorite story. If it was for cheerleading or girlscouts or even plays. Kevin was there to support his girls.
Then his grandchildren were born. I think that was his proudest moment. Seeing his girls have beautiful grandchildren. He loved them even more.
We are kindly asking for help pay for his cremation and service. Anything will help get this family through the toughest time. We lost the rock that truly held us together. We thank you for every little bit.
