The Family of Kevin and Melissa Gilles

Hi, my name is Ashley Arbogast and I'm raising money to help support Kevin and Melissa and their two kids, Lilli and Levi during a challenging time.

Back in April of 2023 Kevin was seen for a diabetic foot ulcer, as many may know being diabetic and having to stay off your feet so it can heal is hard to do when you have a family and having a demanding job. In May is when things in the foot began to take a terrifying turn, with many doctor appointments, trying to get it under control. Kevin has had 3 major surgeries now due to a bone infection, and still has a long road of recovery. In the past 5 months, Kevin has not been able to work

at all. He has had several appointments a week almost 1 or 2 a day. His wife Melissa has been by his side this whole time, driving him to all his appointments leaving her with a very limited work schedule. Melissa has had to become a nurse and learn how to give medication in a IV pic line & how to change his wound dressing daily. Kevin and Melissa, along with Lilli and Levi, had to adjust their lifestyles and move Kevin into the bottom half of their home to make things more comfortable for him. Unfortunately the bills are still coming in and Melissa is working as much as she can at night, while managing everything else.

Kevin has been out of work since May. With a long and uncertain road ahead of them, supporting a family is becoming more and more difficult. This financial assistance would allow them to continue to pay their monthly bills while allowing them to focus on Kevin's recovery.

I would like to add, that if people do not feel comfortable using the GoFundMe, they are more than welcome to make deposit at the PSB bank into Kevin and Melissa's account or drop off gift-cards at Rookies (for gas, restaurants, etc.) With the holidays coming up this money could help them focus of Kevin's care so he can return to work as soon as possible.
