The Family of John Kelly by the Pizza Inn Crew

John Kelly was a loyal, hardworking, dedicated family man and manager of Pizza Inn in Pikeville, NC. His life was cut short at the young age of 47 after being turned away from our local hospital because he didn't have a fever. He was experiencing chest pains and shortness of breath so intensely that he was unable to work that day. Just 24 hours later, John suffered a deadly heart attack while being transported via rescue from his home back to the hospital.
As a Pizza Inn Crew, we are devastated. We will miss his kind nature and his ability to motivate us to become better employees and citizens of our community. He has been manager of Pizza Inn since opening the doors in 2011.
Most of all, we want to help his family. John leaves behind a wife and four children ages 3, 6, 17, and 18. The children have lost their father and his wife has lost her companion so unexpected. This family needs us to rally to help them with funeral expenses and future income that has been so suddenly lost. The Pizza Inn in Pikeville, NC will be responsible for assuring that all donations will be given directly to the Kelly family.
