The Family of Jim Keller

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jim Keller, wonderful husband to Edna Jensen, proud dad to Jim Keller, Dianna Linn and Mark Keller, amazing grandfather to many grandchildren, and great-grandfather to one. Jim was also a beloved father figure to Katrina Welty and step-father to Rob St. Clair and Wendy St. Clair-Rocha. Often referred to as “Elvis” for his amazing hair and glorious sideburns, Jim unexpectedly passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 at the age of 87, just one day shy of his 88th birthday. Jim was never too busy to stop what he was doing and oblige a “fan” who wanted a picture with Elvis, always flashing his fantastic smile. Jim had been battling Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma since the spring of 2022 and was ecstatic to be nearing his last chemotherapy session before the end of June. He was expecting to beat the cancer, gain his strength and get back into his life-long love of the woods where he served this community by expertly falling trees and loving his community well.

We weren’t expecting him to pass away after complications of chemotherapy and a sudden illness. We are at so many losses, words left unsaid and things left undone. To know Jim is to love Jim. He was always kind and joyful with a smile on his face and a giving-helping hand.
