Hello my name is Melinda or Cookie as Jemal would call me. Butch and I started this fundraiser on behalf of Jemal's family. If you knew Jemal you knew he didn't have a mean bone in his body and he was one of the kindest, most loving souls that walked this Earth. Unfortunately his time on Earth was cut short and he left us on November 4, 2022. I'm a firm believer that God only takes us once we are perfect and Jemal was just that. If Jemal liked you and let you in you weren't just a friend, you were family. He saw the best in everyone and pushed them to meet their full potential. His smile and laugh were infectious and will be missed tremendously. First and foremost I ask that you pray for his son, husband, and family during this time. Any monetary donations are greatly appreciated and will be given to his son, husband, and family to help them in any way possible.
