As a sole provider for his family all his life, James Byrd has worked since his early teenage years providing and working numerous of jobs throughout his life. As he landed a career as a Mechanic, he provided  for his family for years In Aurora Illinois up until a better position came to him that made him make a life decision in moving to Los Angeles  California. After a promising job and move for him and his family that happen a little over a year ago, the job and promises that he was given soon folded as soon as he landed his family in Los Angeles. After panic and using all his savings to get his family started he soon landed jobs tht provided. As he worked daily and all his life as a mechanic in providing for his family, Friday it came to as soon pause. As he was working early morning January 25th what possibly he couldn’t afford to happen, happened! Bringing his job and life as he knew to a hault. James is scheduled for surgery Monday morning, after the long wait n transferring him from 3 separate hospitals, all to reconstruction his hand. For he lost a finger along with apart of his hand. As a full time mechanic all his life, u could only know the devestation this has brought upon him and his family as not only the medical bills add up but as the worry and stress begins for his home and utility bills and needs.
